From the Railway Museum in Revelstoke we were back on the road up to the Continental Divide at Rogers Pass
down along the Kicking Horse River.
Like the Athabasca River the Kicking Horse - at least at this time of year - flows wide and calm until this:
After the falls at Natural Bridge, where the river has cut through the rock and left a natural arch, the Kicking Horse widens out again and flows on.
There are more photos of the Kicking Horse and Natural Bridge on our Flickr page.
Next stop: Emerald Lake.
