Early morning rain (also the title of a great Gordon Lightfoot song by the way). Power was off when we got up at 5:45. Back on at 10:30-ish.
Windy - like tropical storm force winds, 40 mph+. "Everyday" winds this time of year are usually 20-30 mph.
Got the new part for the the computer. Hopefully that will solve the problem.
We finally went out to celebrate Christmas/New Year's/Three Kings and even Vanlatine's Day. We had a fabulous dinner at Mangia Mi in Rincon. That's now our favorite go-out-to restaurant. We just wish it was closer than Rincon.
NOW Sunday, February 10: Rain overnight then sunny and windy - but nothing like last year - during the day. It's interesting looking back at the weather and activities a year ago.
